Morph takes its name from Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. The word shares its roots with terms such as morphology and metamorphosis, carrying within it ideas of form, transformation, compression and change. In this sense, Morph suggestsa meaning that can shift and take on different forms according to the intentions of both creator and wearer. We approach form through the abstract and fluid nature of dreams and memory: fragmented, scattered, random and beautifully disordered. Rather than beginning with fixed structures, our work emerges from this unstable landscape of subconscious images, allowing shapes to transform, mutate, and find their own logic. We develop garments through series including Divided, Hybrid, and Organism. Each series borrows different formal strategies from Surrealist practice, translating them into sculptural and garment-based forms.
